Actually, these are quite old, much to everyones relief, the compulsion to drive into every deep hole or boggy spot in our path passed with time. We are now much more selective.

This one was up the river bed, only supposed to be driven when DRY - not after flooding rain.
Bouncing on the front did not get the vehicle out of the hole.
BELOW - These show what is definately a record, our friends had been in the car for about 10 minutes when it became well and truly wedged. Getting out of this one became a 3 car effort.
And that, my friends is why I have a winch..... If only I could find a close enough tree.
