The South pride seem to have settled permanently on Sutton. This means we have had sightings of my favourite boy, the gorgeous North pride male. He managed to seduce one of the South pride females and the result was 4 beautiful cubs 2 male and 2 female born in Dec. They are now 8 months old already and hopefully will inherit their dad’s beautiful mane. Like all children, they grow up too fast, mum kept them secluded for a few months and getting photographs of them was difficult either because of distance of light, it is now easier. |

Lauren Mitchell sent in these photos of him, he looks absolutely beautiful but is becoming a bit battle scarred, I would imagine those scratches come from the females, not sure. |
